Welcome Renee Rothschild, the new Director of Catering and Resident Wedding Guru at Kimpton Glover Park Hotel. It has taken her no time at all to settle in, which is likely a testament to her Midwestern roots and Southern charm that fit so perfectly here in our cozy ntknit neighborhood north of Georgetown.
Calling Savannah, Georgia home, but originally hailing from Springfield, Illinois, there is little Renee hasn’t seen in her nearly 30 year career. From her start as the only farm-to-table caterer in Springfield to opening a new presidential library and even becoming a certified nurse and doula, Renee knows the importance of the details when creating the perfect life event. For Renee, fulfilling couples’ dreams is intrinsic to her personal beliefs. She recognizes that weddings are powerful, major milestones in one’s life, and she’s honored to be a part of them.
When she’s not coordinating color schemes, creating delicious menus and precise timelines, or assembling centerpieces, Renee enjoys spending time with her husband, her family including two young grandchildren, and her dog.
